Dont you think brothers are irritating? Mine is pissing me off right now! He is currently standing next to me and readding aloud what im typing. I just want to slapp him!

Greetings

This is what i wanted to say before i got angry:

Well i’ve been reflecting on my trip to korea. People have been asking me how was the trip and mostly I’ve been telling them the same thing as what i have said in my earlier blog entry. But come to think of it, besides the stripping, there was another wild thing I did in Korea. I ate live octopus. This dish was not part of the package so my ever so adventurous family decided to try it ourselves one night in Jeju Island.

When it was “served”, everybody just stared at the plate, admiring how the tentacles made beautiful wave-like patterns against the plate. After a while, one of the shopkeepers walked up to our table took a pair of chopsticks, picked up a piece of tentacle, dipped it into some chilli sauce and popped the thing into the mouth. We stared at her in awe. Then she hinted for us to follow suit by telling us to pick up chopsticks. haha i was not going to be the first! certainly not. While my mother, ( the creator of this whole idea ) and uncle contemplated on which piece to pick, the chef who prepared the dish came up to the table with a lettuce leaf which was used as a wrap to wrap some food. He tried, unsuccessfully, to shove it down my uncle’s throat while shouting out: sashimi! sashimi! The moment he said those 2 words, the entire family started pointing at me as though i was a wanted criminal! (its becos im the only person they know that ate sashimi on a regular basis) and also like the man they started shouting out : sashimi. The man immediately walked up to me and shoved the whole thing in my mouth. At first I thought: oh my god, what have i done? but then later i said to myself, at least i can tell others that i have tried both japanese as well as korean sashimi! What a treat! Nice. Yum, tasted good, saltish, sweet, wasabish! and i could bet that the piece of raw fish wasn’t cheap! haha. after that, my uncle and mother had been encouraged enough by that female shopkeeper and me that eating in that shop was going to kill them and so they ate. Also after them, i ate the live octopus. It tasted good but the experience was fresh, somethinng that i aint going to forget soon.

As i sit here typing my blog in the middle of the night, im hoping my phone will ring the pleasent sound of my sms alert. Have u had this feeling of great anticipation before? Well i want the magic of yesterday night to come alive again. Pls let it come alive tonight or at least tomorrow morning. Hope! Pray! thats wat im going to do.

Aloha

BTW FYI my brother left me after he realised that i was blogging about him if not i would not have typed the lst para.hahaz

im back from korea

greetings

yes. I’m finally bacck from korea to update my blog. Well, actually I came close to updating my blog before my trip but the computer hung before i could publish the entry. And also after re typing the thing again, my brother closed the internet window. How unfortunate. But not to worry, I’m back agagin. Did u’all happen to notice the imcompleted repeated messages on the doodle-board? Well it was caused by my ever so irritating brother andd cousin at a domestic airport where i was waiting for a plane to Jeju island… they kept pressing the eenter button. So angry with them!! Ahh yes Jeju island… the setting of my fave korean drama … All In

Anywayz I’ll tell u all a little about my trip. But I won’t give u a day to day recount because u can get the itenary from chanbrothers.com ! haha.
Overall was fun but there wasn’t much time too do serious shopping and I was had a hard time finding the entries 2 the rides at the theme parks. YAh and according to the guide he said that temperatures in korea hasn’t risen above 0 degrees for 50 odd yrs during winter. And this yr was the exception. Damm i didnt get 2 see snow haiz… except man made ones in the ski place. haiz. luckily temperatures dipped to -7degress celcius during my last two days in Seoul. At least I managed to experience cold weather… Also my flight got delayed! Great i thought at first because i wanted 2 do more shopping! YAy 4 hours. Then i realised that the Incheon Airport had no trains and it would be troublesome for me to take a bus. So we stayed in the airport walking from one end of it to another. Pathetic.

One of the more memorable places i went to was the hot springs. WEll in order to enter a hot spring in korea u had to strip all the way down… and well u can guess what i did! It was my first public strip performance. How embarrassing. Well i took some pictures in there for rememberance sake. haha joking!

And yah and another thing, koreans really look good. Even the guy pushing the trollies at the airport looked not bad. haha. I also bought a key chain of Lee Byung Hun. Haaha so happy. it cost me 10000 dollars. Korean that is. hey but that is still rather pricy for a key chain!
But one thing to note when shopping in korea, if u dont dress well in korea, the shopkeepers will look down on u.

ok gotta sign out b4 my brother closes the window again.

Kamsahamida!

Chinese RAdio

Greetings

Well I’ve been sort of influenced by my friend to listen to chinese radio stations. She claimed that it could improve our command of the chinese lingo, or so she claimed. Well, so i gave it a try and what did u noe, the first songs i heard was by one of the ONLY chinese groups i listen to, S.H.E. HAh then i thought to myself, hmm maybe its meant to be. This all pre-arranged so that i could fall in love with 933. Well the song was cute note: i was doing my homework at the same time. Then the DJ came on and i thought lets break and let me listen to what the DJ has to say. Well she had some really interesting disccussions with the public. At least they talk more than those english DJs who just intro songs. Okay, so I thought well nice start… at least. Then I continued with my homework and continued listening to those chinese songs. As i continued doing my work i found it hard to concentrate. Not because the songs were nice, but because I was finding it hard to do math and underatanding chinese at the same time! ah.. so i gave up. No more chinese radio. At least for now….

And today, i wanted to put a new song in a new way into my blog. And thanks Vernon for not helping me. Some friend! I’m truely disappointed. :( At least someone helped me out.

Thanks FAdhil.

Btw sly rocks

Aloha

Miss World

Filed under: Uncategorized — sundaes @ 1:11 am

Greetings

Its been a while since i last updated my blog. I have tons to say but i dont wanna let everyone know wats happening now. ( do u get it?) My uncle’s going to HK tomorrow for business. So good… Once he returns, rest for a few days then he’ll be off to korea with us liao. PLus he will be travelling on United airlines but he says that its a waste that there aren’t any seats in SQ or cathay. haha. Oh yah. There was Miss World today and as usual, Singapore sucked. horrible. Hopeless. It was held in China and the guy host was troy, from the apprentice. The female chinese was bilingual. She looked horrible. Her dress sense was hilarious. One of her funnier outfits was when she wore an odd looking cheong sum and then had a very large bronze “olden china coin” necklace dangling from her neck. She looked as if she was trying to do weight training for her neck or something. Also her hair had 2 chopsyicks stuck in it! I dont get why people do that. Its just plain humour. And there was something common out of the final few contestants, they kept using chinese phrases to gain applause from the audience. CHEAp. One of them even snatcched the mike back from the host to say “xie xie ni zhong guo”! I felt embarrassed for her although she smiled from cheek to cheek. MAd women. And also i dont like the voting style of the pagant where everyone can cast their vosts online. No class. No prestige. WEll, at least Ms Universe hasn’t adopted this style yet. Also the crown for Ms World seems awfully large and almost fell off MS Peru’s head. She’s the winner. My aunt said that the former winner was not happy to give up her crown so she purporsely anyhow put the crown on the winner’s head. “bu gan yuan” she said in cantonese. HAHA.
Gtg soon. Don wanna disturb me uncle anymore. He gotta wake up at 4 to catch his flight. poor thing. Bon voyage.
