anyways i wanna blog about my day today.

so remeber last night i was really bushed from pirates of the carribean right? i slept at one! woke up at 6 plus to go for the competition at SAJC. its some scholastic environment fund policy making debate. NOT FOR a proper debate. i took part with the geog. students. thanks Terence for wishing me good luck. i think it helped! anyways… i dragged myself out of the house and i took the bus to toa payoh opposite trellis towers. i changed bus and i took some bus which i thought goes to SAJC! and u noe what…. it ended up travelling all the way to bukit panjang holland area! wrong direction!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i ended up at some place in Singapore called chestnut avenue! lol. highway all the way! and i waited at the bus stop for 20 minutes for the bus to come. sighz.

i was over an hour late. thankfully competitions were designed with buffers put in place (aka registration). and i arrived just as they started! lol.

anyways, through the course of the competition i met a lot of friends. and yah old friend/acquaintances and met new people. hahaha. some so attractive at first. yes that suave speaker… and then become so turned off. heys wait… i wasn’t even turned on lah. was i? i enjoyed myself. lol! okay HIGHLIGHT OF TODAY’S POST:

thank you thank you. i wanna thank so many people. the team. mrs tan. and god. i feel really happy cos its the first trophy i’ve ever won. although i didn’t win the dream British council prize where the 2 selected people will be flown 2 London 2 participate in some environmental conference… i still feel happy. and congrats Jenifer for winning that! (that is if u read my blog at all! lol)

omg i saw hilmie! he is so hot! haha okay lah. Hilmie is so cool! so open… i like ppl like that! why not go play? get what i mean? he is damn pro sia!

carribean

i dont have much time to blog but today is really a joyous one for me. my h1s just ended. completed 2 papers each 3 hours long. watched pirates of the carribean with my besties. and you know what they are so sweet. ian and terence bought me a present for my birthday which was in january!!!!!!! it is in times like this that u really feel happy to be alive and have friends like them.

gosh im tired gtg now. you no vote for me. you no vote for me. noOOOOOO!!!!!!

emo spider man

i did something new over the weekend. i adjudicated a university level debate competition. well SMU hammers was terribly organised. the rules were unclear. there was lax enforcement of punctuality and no one seem to know what was happening when. their only saving grace was its location. CBD. i made a new friend during the competition. her name is jim lim. she’s from Thailand. hmm she’s a really nice person who’s in Singapore for the first time. well being debaters, many people talked to her but no one actually offered to help her find her way around Singapore when she asked. most just gave lip service. hahaa. so being helpful and friendly me… i showed her around plaza singapura and yah i had a great time. we exchanged photos! hahaha cool…

 anyways, on saturday, went to watch movie with Ian, Terence and Vernon. as usual i was late. but this time with good reason. i was delayed because of SMU debate society’s inefficiency. the thing was slated to end at 6. it ended at 7 45… So i sprinted down to Vivo (yes VIvo… my fave…)  and thanks 2 good fortune the train arrived the moment i stepped onto the platform. sorry to keep u guys waiting at tung lok for me… wah ian’s parents went st james to havoc!! lol.

nowadays when im out with my besties i feel pressurised. as in bcos i spend so lil time with them… i feel pressured to make every moment twice as meaningful, twice as memorable and twice as enjoyable. hmm am i trying too hard? cos i feel that my jokes arent as funny as last time… and some of our laughter is quite forced. and im running out of topics.. always about matthew… joel(TJ)… aizzz… then u guys so interested in pirates I ALSO DIDN’T noe … ._.   

anyways i saw Joel and Elmer. after the whole movie, i turned to my left to check out the crowd and i told vernon that someone over there looked like elmer. he said”no laH!!” 10 seconds later he was exclaiming like a mad bunny” that’s joeL! omg Joelll!”

 HAHAHAhA!! elmer and joel barely 3 metres away from us… to think i was thinking of that couple during the movie cos of spidey and MJ.

YAY! i got a date on the last day of school. IAN booked tix for bestie gang! pirates of the carribean.
