My exams are OVER! *whoopie*
the weather is so typically Singaporean- hot and humid, but for once, I’m loving it. why?
Because I’ve just cast my vote! =)
I woke up early to have a good breakfast before going to cast my inaugural vote! My virgin vote!

I had Queen’s Street famous hand-made fishball Mee Poh (green bowl, haha I only remembered to take photo after I finished eating!) and Charcoal cooked porridge with Bee Hoon.
*burps*
After which, went to stock up on some traditional chinese sundries.

Well, to add a twist of modernity to it all, I got myself a cup of…

KOI!
and to end it all, I’d like to lend me your ears to this song by Paul Young. Sung 3 years before i was actually born, this song really inspired me as I made my way to the polling station.
LOVE OF THE COMMON PEOPLE (do give a listen, highly recommended!)
Living on free food tickets,
water in the milk from a hole in the roof
where the rain came through.
What can you do?
Tears from your little sister,
crying ’cause she doesn’t have a dress without a patch
for the party to go.
But you she’ll get by
’cause she’s living in the love of the common people,
smile’s from the heart of a family man.
Daddy’s gonna buy you a dream to cling to,
Mama’s gonna love you just as much as she can
and she can.
Vote for the love of the Common People
Vote to help the family man
Vote so that the youths have a dream to cling to
Vote so that we can be thebest as we can

LOVE FOR THE COMMON PEOPLE
LET US SMILE FROM THE HEART AS MUCH AS WE CAN!
