when something likes this hits you, your natural instinct would be to panic. scream and shout like a Fabian Ong gone berserk and then call everyone to ask for advice. then you’d evaluate the advice given, rebutt them and do what you had wanted to do in the first place. next, you’ll feel really tired, sleepy and lethargic. you’d want to go to bed and rest for a while. and chances are, you’d end up sleeping till dinner time. 

but at the same time, the convenience of the internet, and the satsifaction of typing words and publishing it for the whole world to see makes one want to log on to www.wordpress.com. this gives u an adreanaline rush. 

so here i am, blogging. i’m going off to gym soon also, release those unwanted tension and hopefully destroy some fat cells.

I just got home from a christmas family gathering. Thank you for all the presents. I think one of the most invaluable presents that I got this year was a talk from Laura Jiejie. Hm, it really cleared up alot of issues that I had running in my head. Issues that I had unresolved… I asked alot of people the same few questions and they provided me with temporal relief… but now I feel as if a minor revalation is occuring in me. HAha. At the very least I have a definite answer as to what I do not want to do in uni. hmm, Hahaha I still have not made up my mind on certain things, but I have a much clearer picture now. HAha

thank you laura jie jie. (haha pai sei, i like calling ppl jie jie, di di, gor gor but i don have the chance or the guts to do it in person… )

it’s so crazy. guess who i saw. I saw Mr Foo’s son. and Ian. Xian jun’s friend from last week. he asked me, “are u XJ’s friend?” I looked at him and said, “who’s that?!”.

sorry ah meng about last week. after having a close at him, i really have to wonder why i blew up. sorry. i forgot rule number of clubbing, always have fun. no other agenda.

came home by night rider. with XH and V. stupid bus bell was not working. some nice chap helpped me press the button from somewhere else. came home, i cooked curry maggi mee for them. heehee. i think my cooking skills were not bad. the egg turned out really nice. fluffy and smooth. not overdone. then i had shrimp flavored noodles cos i didnt want anything spicy. but in the end, i was so not used to the non spicyness that i cut a chilli padi into my soup -.-

moonlight 2 clouds of day

the moon hangs low tonight. perhaps it reflects my mood. although it shines bright and full, it is hidden by the clouds. the clouds representing me always hiding something from someone.

heard someone dedicate a song on the radio while i was getting milk from 7-11. the guy was in army camp. and he was trying to sound bashful, and the DJ said “sure, will get u the song u wan cos ure defending our nation.” (okay this is the part when terence reads and start throwing up. )

i hate str8 guys sounding bashful, in my terms, they trying to act cute… for god noes what reason. okay, str8 guys acting bashful… they out to be bashed up.

Fabian hates slow transport- Fabian doesn’t like slow cab drivers. HE DETESTS SLOW BUS DRIVERS. buses are already slow to begin with, and when a bus driver purposely drives at snail pace so that the traffic lights will turn red when he reaches the junction, the driver better be thankful that they dont have axes on board buses in singapore. i just dont know why some drivers, especially the older uncles, love to step on the accelerator for 5 seconds then let the bus slide thru… and they purposely slow down when nearing the traffic lights to allow them 2 change to red. CHIIIcken white…

haha james, i did a little favour for you, the instructor u have been drooling about is called uncle ben… i saw him giving out bah kua to his students at the pool. i mean he is cool to do that, but the students jump out of the p00l to eat them, and it reminded me of the dolphin shows where the dolphins and sea lions will slide out of the pool to receive their treats… anyways, the way the students called “uncle ben….come here” was simply so adorable. i was like melting, the way they called him “uncle ben… my goggles very tight” haha reminded me of myself when i was learning to swim… “mr hong… my goggles very tight…” anyways, wonder how my ex instructor is doing now… i remember him by the necklace he wore… anyways, the kids were so cute and funny. blowing “rain” out of their mouth… ( they sucked water into their mouth and blew it out, trying to make it “rain” as they said. ) haha realli unhygienic but so funny. they looked like Orcas breathing through their blow holes… hahaha so much for marine entertainment…

okay I HAVE BEEN EXPECTING AN OVERWHELMING RESPONSE FROM U ALL TO MY EGYPT TOUR ENTRIES. BUT NO… I ONLY HAVE 1 COMMENT FROM DEAR AMY . AND YES MY HIGHEST ENTRY PER DAY HASN’T PEAKED SINCE THE BEGINNING OF THIS YEAR! WHERE IS THE LOVE MAN?!!!

isn’t this joyful? this is on the river nile cruise ship room. haha yah the room in the cruise. actually i really enjoyed sailing down the nile. cos it’s like quite nothing to do.. just read my secret and go for leisurely tours.

we hopped off the ferry cruise to this sail boat called the ferluka which the egytians have been using to navigate the river nile since ancient times. apparently they sail in a zig zag manner when they wanna go against the current.

i climbed to the top of a speed boat for fun! heheh.

this picture can be used in an ad i think. royalties must be given to the photographer. me.

this is one of the Greek-Roman style temples i visited in egypt. did u noe that the greeks and romans also made themselves Egyptian pharohs at a point in time. check out the engravings which have been disfigured in the background. done by the christians escaping persercution back in rome. they wanted to erase idolatry when seeking refuge in these temples.

can u see that part of the roof of this temple has fallen. nice pic eh? we visited this temple in the evening. BTW night falls really early during this time of the year in Egypt.

so CJC class of 2006 graduated on Friday 5 October. praise the lord!

Speaking of uploading pictures, my wordpress account has reached its limit. hahaha the above picture is the last one that wordpress allowed. So now I’m making use of photobucket. I don’t dare to count the number of pictures I have in my computer. Can’t bear to delete any of them. I somehow have the feeling that one day, the internet and computer world will just crash due to information overload…

I have so many things to blog about. First of all, the weather is just killing. as in seriously, it’s so uncomfortable it just cuts productivity in half. yes, and i have one fan blowing directly at me and i still feel hot and slimy. i have already showered 2 times today.

and secondly, I just wanna tell you all that my blog readership has steadily been increasing. averaging around 60 views a day. haha. not much but yes… hahaha i feel happy. so thanks to friends for reading. and to those prying eyes … hahahaa well just read… i cant be too bothered. just dont be jealous of my life. HAHAA… cos u noe what, according to wordpress dashboard, someone googled “derrick soh” and came 2 my blog. YIKES. hahaha.
